High Hotels and High Real Estate Group Announce Plans For New Courtyard By Marriott
Wednesday, June 30, 2004

Groundbreaking in Greenfield Corporate Center in Lancaster planned for summer, 2005

LANCASTER, PA, June 28, 2004 – High Hotels, Ltd., and High Real Estate Group, affiliates of High Industries, Inc., today announced plans to build a new 133-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Greenfield Corporate Center, East Lampeter Township, PA.  Groundbreaking for the new Courtyard by Marriott is planned for summer, 2004.  High Hotels also owns and operates the Hampton Inn in Greenfield Corporate Center.

"We are extremely enthusiastic about the prospects of a Courtyard by Marriott in the Lancaster market," said Frank McCabe, President High Hotels.  “The Courtyard by Marriott concept, known as The Hotel Designed by Business Travelers®, will be the perfect complement to the needs of this community.  It brings a new Marriott brand to Lancaster, and with over 600 locations worldwide, Courtyard hotels have a proven track record for providing high-quality services and amenities that will appeal to both business and leisure travelers visiting the area. It will complement the full-service Marriott hotel that is being developed by Penn Square Partners in Lancaster City."

Easily accessible from U.S. Route 30, the Courtyard by Marriott will be the first step in the creation of a new hospitality center at Greenfield Corporate Center. When completed, the center will include an additional hotel as well as two new restaurants.  High Real Estate Group is currently evaluating prospective restaurants, but no agreements have been finalized.

When completed, the new Courtyard by Marriott hotel will provide guests with a restaurant offering a breakfast buffet as well as cooked-to-order selections, guest lounge, and a business library with individual computer workstations, high-speed Internet access, copier and printer.  A 24-hour food and beverage area called The Marketplace™, will offer gourmet deli sandwiches and snacks.  The new Courtyard by Marriott will also feature a fitness room, indoor pool and whirlpool spa, and meeting facilities.

High Hotels and High Real Estate Group are developing the new Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott slated to open in the summer of 2005.  Architectural design and construction of the hotel will be provided by Greenfield Architects, Ltd. and High Construction Company, respectively, both affiliates of High Real Estate Group.

The new Courtyard by Marriott will be the eleventh hotel owned and operated by High Hotels and their second Courtyard by Marriott.  The company owns and operates award-winning Hampton Inn hotels in Lancaster, Harrisburg, Reading, and York, PA, Middletown, NY, and Annapolis MD;  Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels in Reading and Harrisburg, PA;  a Hilton Garden Inn in Wilkes-Barre, PA;  and a Courtyard by Marriott in Middletown, NY.
